A Note About ESA Funding:
ESA Funds can be used to pay for private or group tutoring, in-person or online classes, private school tuition, homeschool expenses, and much more.
ESA funding in the state of Arizona provides families—who do not attend public school—the equivalent amount of tax dollars that would be spent on their child in the public school system. The amount varies per grade level, but is approximately $6000-8000 per year per child, with the amount getting larger for the older grades. This is the equivalent of $1000 per subject for six or seven subjects per year per student. Another way to look at the breakdown of this funding is that there are 180 school days in a year which is the equivalent of 36 weeks in a school year (18 weeks per semester). ESA funding would cover approximately $170-$200 per week per child for the duration of a 36-week school year.

I'm surveying homeschool families to determine the interest level for a small group art class. This course would be designed for children who are enthusiastic about art, want strong but enjoyable work, and look forward to seeing each other's progress. This class would be on a more intense side. If you would be interested in participating in this two hour class once or twice per week, 3:30 - 5:30 pm, please contact Anna Larsen at 520-251-2648.

I started learning piano in Germany and continued in Russia. From there I went on to teaching in the Saint Petersburg, Russian school system for 25 years, including accompaniment to other instruments. After moving to America in 2004, I continued piano teaching in a private music school and taught private lessons as well as did some accompaniment.
