V. Rev. Fr. Justin Frederick is the rector of Saint Maximus the Confessor Orthodox Church in Denton, Texas. The mission, located two blocks from the University of North Texas, was established at the directive of Archbishop Dmitri of Dallas and the South (OCA) and held its first service in 2001.
Father Justin and Matushka Michelle have four children, and have chosen to educate them from the home. Fr. Justin, who was himself homeschooled, offers valuable insight for homeschool families and parish leaders as someone who understands the needs of homeschoolers from the perspective of the homeschool student, homeschool parent, and parish priest overseeing a homeschool co-op.
